Micanopy Community Council for the Arts, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 not for profit organization, located in Micanopy, Florida dedicated to enhancing knowledge and appreciation of the arts to the greater Micanopy community and with support and encouragement to artists of all ages.

Activities:

* A permanent gallery, “Gallery Under the Oaks”,  featuring local and member artists.
*  Monthly Meetings, 2nd Monday, 6:00pm at the gallery
* “Under the Oaks” Newsletter
* Recognition and support of local Junior Artists
* Providing assistance to area arts organizations as needed

Artists Alliance of North Florida

Arts Association of Alachua County

The Town of Micanopy Florida:

* Founded in the early 1800s
* A tradition of supporting and encouraging cultural and artistic endeavors
* It is in the spirit of that tradition and for the purpose of enhancing an appreciation of the arts in the greater Micanopy area that the Micanopy Community Council for the Arts was formed.
