Feb. 13th 2007- Starting March 1st 2007 there will be no more gallery fee cost for working members. Only commission will be collected on sales. Please see new Gallery Application for more

On Feb. 27 we lost a member. Artist, DANA CAVALLERO, lost her battle with cancer on February 27, 2008

She will be missed.

 

Gallery Under the Oaks is located in Historic Downtown Micanopy in the Log Cabin built in the 1920s by R.H. May for is wife to entertain luncheon guests and was later used as a restaurant.

The Gallery Opened February 1, 2006 with help from the Micanopy Area Chamber of Commerce. Combined we share the space for Artists and Jr. Artists to show and sell artwork all year round and to use as the Chamber's Welcome Center. Views, write ups from the Ocala Star Banner Article 1 and the Gainesville Sun Article 1 and Article 2.
