Gallery Under the Oaks is located in Historic Downtown Micanopy in the Log Cabin built in 1920s by R.H. May for is wife to entertain luncheon guests and was later used as a restaurant. The Gallery Opened February 1st 2006 with help from the Micanopy Area Chamber of Commerce. Combined we share the space for Artists and Jr. Artists to show and sell artwork all year round and to use as the Chambers Welcome Center. Views write ups from the Ocala Star Banner Article 1 and the Gainesville Sun Article 1 and Article 2.
